1. Console in plexiglass and wood ‘Laguna’

Description

The console tables of the series ‘Laguna’ are made from randomly shaped sections of oak trunks, on which are screwed four plexiglass (cast acrylic) legs, each one carved from a whole acrylic block. The modern material used for the legs, its smoothness and the elegant shape of the Late Baroque style, creates a stark contast against the naturalistic roughened edging of the table top.On the top of the console some holes are randomly made and then filled with transparent resin.Because of the trunk and random holes on the surface, each console is a unique piece.
